· Technically specified, procured, installed and commissioned heavy machinery and heavy-duty mobile equipment.
· Designed, procured, installed, commissioned, and maintained pump, conveyor, mixing, compressed air, and other rotatory systems.
· Technically specified, procured, installed, commissioned substations, mini-subs, transformers, power lines, and electrical cables.
· Performed audits, specified remedial work, reviewed complex structural designs, and implemented remedial work on civil and steel structures.
· Technically specified, procured, installed, commissioned and maintained heat transfer systems including heat exchangers, and steam circuit protection equipment.
· Planned and executed maintenance work (routine work management (RWM)); developed and implemented maintenance and engineering strategies e.g. Risk Based Reliability Centred Maintenance (RB-RCM) and Route Cause Analysis (RCA).
· Managed operations, refurbished and maintained: the Boiler House including boiler registration; the Compressor House and compressed air circuit; the Water Reticulation Plant and potable water reticulation.
· Performed feasibility studies for opening new open-cut coal mines, involving engineering on mine and process infrastructure, environmental permitting, and mineral rights.
· Constructed a coal processing plant (CPP) and all supporting infrastructure.
